ABC Television Using The Genesis 3D Weather System
Outstanding graphics that save time and resources
The ABC Television Network approached us to investigate the possibility of automating the production of their weather service. To achieve this automation, as well as an improvement in the look and feel of their presentation, the Genesis 3D Weather System was chosen. Genesis produces sophisticated weather graphics and seamless 3D animations.
Genesis has allowed ABC to create one of the most detailed and eye pleasing weather presentations in Australia. Genesis also enables individual state weather graphics to be centrally produced, resulting in a huge resource saving, plus a consistency right across the country.
ABC weather can be seen on-air at 12.25pm weekdays and at 7.25pm 7-days a week.

Austar/Foxtel's Weather Channel
The complete weather service
We have worked closely with The Weather Channel since 1998. The Weather Channel is available on Austar, Foxtel and Optus in over 1.3 million homes across Australia. The provides continuous updates of forecasts, current conditions and weather warnings, 24 hours a day. For this reason Weather Channel Australia is one of the most watched stations on pay television.
Our meteorologists keep Weather Channel 'Presenters' informed of the most significant weather events taking place, the causes behind them and what can be expected in the future. This detailed information gives a credible and highly accurate performance by the presenter.
The Weather Channel takes advantage of systems such as Genesis and Weather Producer, which are used to create stunning and effective weather presentations. Anything that will affect the viewer is then highlighted by TWC meteorologists and demonstrated by the Weather Channel Presenters using these sophisticated weather tools.
The Weather Company provides the complete weather service from hardware and software, graphics and data through to scripts and advice to presenters. The Weather Company also hosts their website and has developed a range of interactive and online applications to support Weather Channel's television services. It truly is the complete weather service.
Network Ten Using TWC Scripts And Graphics

The Weather Company produces all of Network Ten's weather graphics to their exact specification. These are delivered via a data line, with scripts available to presenters over the internet. Channel 10 was TWC's first client and we are proud to be involved with their fun and informative weather presentation. TWC's graphics can be viewed on Network Ten right across the country. SBS broadcast a world news service of the highest standard. TWC produce the SBS weather segment with detailed maps and globe trotting animations. TWC creates the high quality 3D animations daily, sent as ready to broadcast files. SBS has a sharp, well presented weather segment that includes map animations that are consistent with other graphics used in their news service.
Sky News Australia Using TWC Scripts And Graphics
Up to date weather, ready to show anytime at the drop of a hat
Sky News Australia provides a 24 hour a day news service to all pay TV providers. To give their viewers the most accurate weather in their hourly news service, they require automatically updating weather data and graphics. Using Weather Producer this is easily achieved. Customised scripts written by TWC meteorologists are emailed at regular intervals through the day. These scripts allow the presenter to give life to what is happening in satellite animations, synoptic charts and rainfall maps. The end result is an accurate, live weather presentation that informs the viewer how current and future weather will affect them.
Prime Network Using Weather Producer
Bringing city style weather presentation to the bush
Prime Television is available in regional areas through NSW, Victoria and WA through GWN. By introducing TWC's "Weather Producer" Prime has been able to increase weather content in their programming, vastly improve the style and content while slashing production time through automation. Weather Producer creates graphics in real time, allowing weather information to be put to air in a moment's notice. A completely integrated autocue feature (using our scripts) greatly enhances the quality of the presentation.
